Taco Bueno

What is going on with taco bueno?? The location at white settlement. Avoid this location at all costs. Food greedy, tortillas stale, beans too hot and will burn your mouth, tea tastes like lake water. There is NOTHING positive about this place. I live across the street and we have had horrible experiences for a year now and we keen thinking after complaining that they will change things but they don’t. It needs to be shut down.

Love the mexy dip and chips,my favorite.

Taco Thursday! I love that they have secret specials. Only us bueno lovers know about.

Dirty place no clean tables. Had to go out side to take a phone call music was so loud. Employees yelling at each other food just so so. Nothing to go back for. No wonder this chain has stores closing up everywhere. Used to be the best. Not anymore. Very disappointed. Just save yourself and go-to taco casa.

Starting with the employees that looked like they would rather die than be at work and the following was the order taker that got the whole order wrong so we could repeat it again and again. Both the tacos had cold meat, my bueno burrito had very little bueno, and my husband's bean burrito was something that shouldn't have been served to anyone. We went to Taco Bueno because Taco Bell had a line around the building....its even been 5 years since we went to a Taco Bueno and I'm not sure we'll go back. The employees were as sad as the food.

It’s a Bueno. One of the few remaining. I was excited to run across it but even with a pandemic to not allow a person to use your restroom and wash their hands flies 100 % against the whole sanitation aspect. “Here come in, touch the door and cash and allllll the items we’ve touched. Now, go eat your tacos” what with a fork? “No you can’t wash your hands (bc the restroom -both of them- are allegedly out of order.) Yeah, we just piss in the beans and don’t bother with hand washing anyway so we don’t care. Whatevs.” Absurd at best! But ok then, Adios Bueno, not worth spending a single penny with this dying chain if you won’t even let people wash their hands. Ya tacos not so highly superior in this region to begin with. Keep treating people this way and we’ll stopping coming all together.

Quick to get food out. Big box family pack is very inexpensive and feeds me and wife and snack for next day

Apparently this is what a $2.49 brisket taco looks like. Pathetic. If the owners are actually interested in delivering a quality product, this was served at the drive thru at 6:00pm on 6/30.

Went around the drive thru and no one answered me. Even after going around the second time. Poor customer service

The service is kind of slow and crappy sometimes, but its only when a certain female works there. I like their food. Clean enough.

They close the one on Alta Mere, but leave this one open? Why? I've been to this location 3 times, and every time it's a joke. The older lady who handles the drive through needs a new gig. Her attitude is absolute garbage. Last time I was here- the jets were flying out of the base. I couldn't hear what she said, so I asked her to repeat herself. Damn, that was a mistake. Homegirl acted like she was going me favor, taking my money. My advice- skip this place and go anywhere else.

They've improved just a tad. Impressed a little bit.

The cashiers are actually pretty rude at this location. Whether it's the drive-thru or inside and apparently customers get in there way of talking with each other on the clock.

Everybody the clerk the manager everybody was fantastic very concerned about how good their food was ask all the right questions

We spent $22 plus not bad for the food and it’s just taste fine.Location is nice but the dining area smells something, it looks dated too.

No matter what they always mess up order

Not sure what happened tonight but this location needs to get it together. I order 4 items, 3 Party tacos and a mexi dip and chip. Burnt beans on that and no hot sauce and got 3 Been burritos instead. Sure hope they get it together soon or I won’t be back😡

While the staff is always friendly, this location is very hit or miss and mostly miss at dinner time. The beans and rice often are very dried out and have even drier crunchy bits in them. Not an enjoyable experience. Tonight the soda machines were not working. :( We'll stick to the location in River Oaks.

Queso was not hot, taco shell was stale, beans had gross hard dark pieces broken up into it like it was burned but just mixed back in, and the rice looked like it had been sitting out for a while and was not hot at all. Wont be going back to this one.

The meat wasn't very hot and the lettuce was it very fresh

This is a great Taco Bueno. I've never had something I didn't love from this location.

Its fast food not much to say. Sometimes they get your or right sometimes they dont.

Corporate needs to fix the breaker. The lights kept going off and the a/c was out. Corporate is slacking. The food was good and the employees were nice and professional. The employees get 5 stars corporate gets none.

Food was good. As far as quality it was not good. The burrito had a teaspoon of beans. Was very disappointed in the burritos..

Best Taco Bueno I've been to. Senior discount and working air conditioner. Two thumbs up.

Under cooked meat/ Threw away $10 mealThe worst Taco Bueno that I have ever been too. The owners of this franchise location should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. ANYONE can franchise a fast food restaurant. If you FAIL to hire the right help the GUESS WHAT AS an OWNER you shovel the meat of the plate. Loser operation from top to bottom. Taco Bueno headquarters failed in giving this owner rights to operate this location.

Runny queso sauce smaller queso sauce cups burrito not as hot

The cashier was talking trash about us in spanish. I guess she did not think we spoke or understood spanish. The food was not good. They were not busy it should have been hot and fresh. I will not go back. They need training and need to have respect for everyone. I was very disappointed with food and the way we were treated.

Food took to long to get to me, it was cold, tacos were all broken.

Better than taco casa and taco bell, not as good as taco cabana

Food is rarely put together well and the service is usually bad. If we are really craving Taco Bueno we will go, but we usually avoid this place. Taco Casa is right around the corner and overall better.Update 10-11: Updating my review from stars to 1 star . Highly do not recommend. I waited a total of 25 minutes for a drive through order to be taken. They were even nice enough to keep asking me to wait while they took 2 other orders from cars that just pulled up. I feel confident my food has spit in it now for pointing it out to the cashier. Notice the dark spots in my image. There are dark spots throughout the beans, and they are not the texture of beans. Its either meat that has fallen into the beans or something worse. 🤢

If you ate in a hurry DO NOT come here, I have been in the drive through for 3 songs on the radio now and the line has not moved. I am 1 car from the window and have sat here in line for nearly 20 minutes now. There are 15 places around here and I chose the wrong one. Finally at the window and the grill is down and they can't make part of the menu. I think they need to increase wages and HIRE QUALITY customer oriented help, poor service is why Taco Bueno is going out of business, that is usualy a wage issue. They make some of the "best fast food to go Mexican type food. However the slow service for a to go place is killing the business.

Disgusting...exta cheesey tacos equal regular party tacos minus veggies but cost MORE. No extra meat or cheese. Hopefully they'll be out of business soon. Nasty.

The food is great. The only thing is I ordered a bueno burrito and got a been burrito. Kind of not what I was wanting, and it did look like they were understaffed, but the lady bringing my order stopped and was eating chips with her bare hands and then proceeded to come and bag up food. I think it's a health hazard for employees to be eating food when around making of customers food. This should be addressed by management

Gave me the wrong salsa and slid my beans and rice on top of my enchiladas.

Fast, fresh, friendly. Definitely my favorite tex-mex fast food chain, but this particular location was possibly the best one I have been to
